What does the 100% guarantee mean?

If you are not fully satisfied with the system within 90 days of installation, we'll remove the system and give you a complete refund.

How many times a day will the system mist?

Two to three times a day for 30 - 60 seconds should be adequate for most yards.

What should I expect in terms of the insects disappearing?

Even after the first spraying, you will notice remarkably fewer annoying insects within the perimeter of your yard. After a week or two the results will be even more dramatic. Remember, however, nothing is 100% effective.

The SWAT Mosquito Systems installation and service staff is insured and bonded. In addition, SWAT Mosquito Systems employees are licensed by the state in which they operate. But equally important, all employees are trained and certified to install and service the SWAT Mosquito Systems system.

What is the SWAT Mosquito Systems Outdoor Insect Mist System?

The SWAT Mosquito Systems solution is a fully-automated, misting system that kills and repels mosquitoes, flies, spiders, gnats, fleas, ticks, roaches, wasps and other outdoor insects. The system is professionally installed around homes and businesses and mists a botanical insecticide derived from the dried flowers of Chrysanthemum Cineraria folium.

How does the misting system work?

Our system consists of a reservoir, a control unit and a pump that are stationed in a garage, shed or another designated outdoor area. A timer triggers the system to pump the Pyrethrum or other mist through the installed line, which releases a fine mist through a series of stainless steel or nickel plated nozzles. The system is fully automated to mist just 2 - 3 times per day at 30 - 60 second intervals. The mosquito mist system also includes a remote control that allows the user to mist between regularly timed intervals plus a battery back-up system that keeps the timer correct in the event of a power outage.

What sets your system apart from others?

Our patented system is "the original." It has a fully automated digital display panel. It is the only system of its kind to incorporate a level sensing float switch, agitator, pressure switch and 3-button remote control.

Why do I want an agitator?

Even the chemicals that have emulsifiers, which are designed to keep the products in suspension, separate over time. With an agitator, the insecticide stays well blended for a consistent, even spray every time.

What is Pyrethrum?

Pyrethrum is the botanical insecticide derived from the dried flowers of Chrysanthemum Cineraria folium. The active plant oil is found mostly in microscopic oil glands around the seed casing in the flower head and is made up of a combination of six chemical esters known as pyrethrins. The physiological action of pyrethrins is to both inhibit the mosquitoes from biting as well as cause repellency, immobilization, paralysis and death.

In what other applications is Pyrethrum used?

Pyrethrum is widely used in horticulture and by organic crop farmers to control leaf hoppers and other insects. Other uses include post-harvest treatment of fruits and vegetables, shampoos for pets, sprays and fogs for farms and dairies and to protect stored food products.

How safe is the pyrethrum?

Our recommended pyrethrum insecticides are derived from natural chrysanthemum flowers and are considered to be very low in toxicity. However, they are insecticides and should be used according to the manufacturer's label.

Is pyrethrum harmful to children or pets?

Pyrethrum insecticides have been used in agricultural and equine applications for a quarter century with no known harmful effects.

No other insecticide can claim such a long record of proven safety towards humans and warm-blooded animals. Other over the counter insecticides contain petroleum distillates, oils and solvents that can be harmful.

Will the product hurt my plants?

No. Our recommended pyrethrum insecticides do not contain petroleum distillates, which cause photo toxicity.

How long does it take to install the system?

On average, installations take four hours, but might require as much as several days to install, depending on the size of the area and the complexity of the system.
